Early History
Kentmoror sits on land that was made by warm shallow seas and slow moving glacial formations The most recent glaciers receded more than 14000 yrds ago. The glacial activity formed the hills, small lakes and large boulders common in our area. It is also the source of the Rouge River. There is considerable evidence of the work of the Glaciers throughout Bloomfield Township.
This is the ancestral land of the Indigenous People of the Potowatomi, Ojibwa and the Ottawa. They are the people of the The Three Fires, the Anishshinabek.
